Food Hygiene and Barista Training

This nationally recognised short course is designed to provide students with essential food safety and coffee-making skills required for work in hospitality venues such as cafés, restaurants, hotels, and coffee shops. Training covers safe food handling practices as well as espresso preparation using commercial equipment.

Who Should Enrol

This course is suitable for individuals who:
  • are interested in developing food safety and barista skills for the hospitality industry,
  • are seeking entry-level roles in cafés, restaurants, or other food and beverage venues, or
  • wish to complete specific units of competency that contribute to a hospitality qualification

Course Delivery

  • Mode: Face-to-face training using commercial hospitality equipment.
  • Structure: A mix of theory and hands-on practice.
  • Support: Students will have access to experienced trainers and individual learning support where required.
