This nationally recognised short course provides the skills and knowledge required to work responsibly in licensed venues such as bars, clubs, pubs, restaurants, and hotels. It focuses on the legislative requirements for the responsible service of alcohol and the responsible conduct of gambling in New South Wales.
 

Who Should Enrol

This course is suitable for individuals who:
  • are seeking employment in licensed venues such as bars, clubs, or restaurants,
  • require RSA and RCG certification to meet industry and licensing requirements, or
  • wish to complete these units as part of their vocational study pathway.

Course Delivery

  • Duration: Two days, face-to-face classroom training.
  • Structure: Combination of theory and practical learning.
  • Support: Students will have access to experienced trainers and individual learning support where required.

Learning Outcomes

  • Apply the principles and legislative requirements of the Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
  • Apply the principles and legislative requirements of the Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG)
  • Understand responsibilities for serving alcohol and managing gambling services in licensed premises
