Course code: Statement of Attainment in CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support
This course is suitable for anyone thinking about working in the aged care environment - a great way to see if it is the career for you.

This short course will give you the competitive edge as you learn to communicate and work in the health industry. Graduates will be able to work with some independence and under limited supervision in aged care environments.

This qualification provides a pathway to work in aged care. This course has a work placement requirement as assessment must take place in an Aged Care Facility.

For students that successfully complete the short course and show suitable skills, traineeship positions are on offer. This short course is a real opportunity for you to gain employment.

The successful achievement of this skill set will result in a Statement of Attainment in CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support and requires you to complete the units listed below:

  • CHCCOM005 Communicate and work in health or community services
  • CHCAGE001 Facilitate the empowerment of older people
