About Government subsidies
At the National College of Vocational Education, we understand that it can be challenging to invest in yourself when you want to gain new skills and look for new employment opportunities. That’s why we have partnered with the NSW Government so you can choose from hundreds of qualifications from Certificate II to Diplomas.
Each of these governments are committed to ensuring that Australians have the education and skills they need to contribute to the economic and social development of the country. As a result, many National College of Vocational Education clients are provided subsidies by the different governments to undertake their chosen training.
For each of the programs we provide under the different funding schemes, there are certain eligibility criteria that need to be met.

What qualifications are subsidised?
Smart and Skilled qualifications are subsidised by the NSW Government to help people in NSW get the skills they need to find a job and advance their careers. Eligible students can choose from hundreds of qualifications, from Certificate II to Diploma.
Employability Skills Courses
Smart and Skilled short courses are subsidised by the NSW Government to help people in NSW get the skills they need to find a job and advance their careers. Eligible students can choose from many of our short courses to help them progress their careers.
Fee Free Courses
NSW Fee Free improves access to training for young people, job seekers, First Nations People, unpaid carers, women undertaking study in non-traditional trades and certain categories of visa holders. Check out our courses to see what we have available and contact us today to check your eligibility.
