Testimony: Tanunya from Thailand

New...smiling, altruistic and heartfelt

by: Nathaly Trujillo

From the South of Thailand Tanunya Pochalee, better known as New, told us about her journey here as an International Student.
Tanunya is a Geology Engineer from the Department  of  Geology,  Chulalongkorn University in Thailand. Although her big dream is to be a nurse or doctor and to help people, she completed      her studies in geology because it is her father’s background as well.
However,  during  her  time as a student she participated in some volunteer camps in Thailand  helping  people  with some  projects  such as  developing schools in the countryside,  building    toilets and doing some renovations.
Being  aware  of  the difficult situations that some communities experience in her country, the      real  passion  of  Tanunya is  to help  people.  Consequently,  she continued  volunteering  and            participating in volunteer programmes in her country.
