This Hospitality and RSA Short Course in Moruya is fully funded for eligible job seekers through the NSW Government’s Smart & Skilled program — meaning you pay nothing to gain four nationally recognised units of competency. This program is hands-on from day one. You’ll learn to prepare and serve quality espresso coffee using commercial hospitality equipment, apply safe food handling and hygiene practices, engage customers professionally to deliver outstanding service, and understand your legal obligations under NSW liquor legislation. Whether you’re returning to the workforce, starting out for the first time, or looking to build skills that will get you job-ready quickly, this Hospitality and RSA Short Course gets you qualified in just five days.
This course is free for eligible participants under the NSW Smart & Skilled program. To be eligible you generally need to be an Australian citizen or permanent resident aged 15 or over, living or working in NSW, not currently enrolled in secondary school, and meet the eligibility criteria for government-subsidised training. This Hospitality and RSA Short Course is delivered face-to-face over five days at Moruya Golf Club. Training is completed using commercial hospitality equipment and includes both practical and theory components. You’ll work alongside experienced industry trainers in a professional venue environment, building the real-world confidence that gets you hired.
Please bring valid, current NSW ID on the first day of training.
Upon successful completion, you’ll receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for each of the four units completed. Completion of SITHFAB021 also provides eligibility for your NSW RSA Competency Card issued by Liquor & Gaming NSW — a mandatory requirement for working in any licensed venue in New South Wales.
