You can qualify the people you already have through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), put new hires through a funded NSW traineeship where they’re eligible, or get a crew job-ready with a short course. Study is online with a named trainer, assessment happens in your workplace, and we deliver Australia-wide, with face-to-face training in Wollongong and Nowra.

Plenty of your people already do the job well and just don’t have the paper. Through RPL we assess them against the qualification using their work, their records and an observation on shift. They only train in the units their evidence doesn’t cover.
In NSW, many Certificate III and IV qualifications can be done as a traineeship, fee-free for eligible new-entrant trainees whose training starts before 30 June 2027. We check each person before you commit, so there are no surprises.

Yes, if they’re new to your business. A traineeship lets you hire someone and qualify them on the job, and in NSW the training is fee-free for eligible new-entrant trainees whose training starts before 30 June 2027. Traineeships are funded by the NSW Government through Smart & Skilled.

New hires in NSW may be able to train fee-free through a traineeship (see funded traineeships above). Existing staff and both Diplomas are fee-for-service. The Certificate III in Cleaning Operations, the Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations and the Certificate IV in Ageing Support are fee-for-service for everyone.
Yes. Employers get a login to the NCVE Client Portal. It shows every learner’s enrolment status, units completed and assessment progress, and you can download Statements of Attainment and certificates whenever a client, auditor or tender panel asks for them.
Every learner has a named trainer who answers the phone and marks their work. No helpdesk queue.

Very little. The theory is online and self-paced with a named trainer, and assessment happens at your workplace during normal shifts. Short courses like RSA or White Card run as a single day or less.
Yes. Qualifications are delivered online anywhere in Australia, with workplace assessment wherever your sites are. NSW traineeship funding only applies in NSW, so interstate staff are on the employer price. Face-to-face short courses run in NSW.
