BUILD RESILIENCE AND TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR WELLBEING — ONLINE, AT YOUR OWN PACE

Thrive is NCVE’s online Personal Wellbeing & Resilience Program — a practical, evidence-based course that gives you the tools to manage fatigue, reduce stress, and build a healthier, more balanced life. Aligned with SIRXHWB001, Thrive is fully online and self-paced, so you can work through it when and where it suits you. Enrol in any NCVE course and Thrive is included free — or complete it as a standalone program for just $270 with Afterpay and ZipPay available.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN IN THIS PERSONAL WELLBEING COURSE ONLINE

Thrive covers three practical modules grounded in current research. In Module 1 you’ll learn to understand and manage fatigue — what causes it, how it affects your thinking and motivation, and how to build lasting energy through sleep, movement, and daily habits. Module 2 focuses on stress — how your body responds to it, the different types of stressors, and a practical toolkit of evidence-based techniques to reduce it, including breathing exercises, mindfulness, and physical activity. Module 3 brings it all together with work-life balance planning, goal-setting, digital wellbeing, and habit formation — finishing with a Personal Wellbeing Plan you build for yourself and keep.

WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?

This personal wellbeing course online is designed for anyone who wants to feel better, manage stress more effectively, and build sustainable daily habits. It is particularly well-suited to job seekers and people returning to work who want to strengthen their employment readiness alongside their wellbeing. Employment providers and community organisations can refer clients to Thrive as a structured, evidence-based activity that supports Workforce Australia participation requirements. Whether you’re working through it independently or as part of a training plan, Thrive meets you where you are.

HOW THE COURSE IS DELIVERED

Thrive is fully online and self-paced through NCVE’s eCampus. The program takes approximately 6–8 hours to complete across three modules, and you can pause and resume at any point — your progress saves automatically. Each module includes embedded video content from leading researchers and practitioners, reflection activities, and knowledge checks. The program concludes with four assessments, including a Personal Wellbeing Plan you build throughout the course. No classroom, no fixed dates — just log in and learn at your own pace.

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THRIVE

The program covers three modules and four assessments: Module 1 — Understanding & Managing Fatigue, Module 2 — Understanding & Managing Stress, and Module 3 — Work-Life Balance & Wellbeing Planning. Assessments include a Knowledge Check, a Personal Stressor Audit, a Personal Wellbeing Plan, and a Progress Reflection completed three weeks after you begin. The Personal Wellbeing Plan is yours to keep — a practical document you can print, save, and refer back to.
